Last Shot
Last Shot was one of my favorite books I have ever read. It is by John Feinstein and is the perfect mix of action, adventure, and sports. Even if you don't like sports, this would be a great book for you. It is set so that almost every age can read it. It is a great book for Ms. Lewis's Parallel Reading because you just always want to keep reading, so you can easily get by the 85 pages you need to read a week. The characters are very appealing, whether they are good or bad. Also, it has an ending that you will never see coming. If you like this book, John Feinstein also wrote Cover Up and Vanishing Act and those books have the same main characters. I like Last Shot more than both of them, but they are also pretty good.
